An evening of Sicilian Folk & Roots Music

Terra Sangue Mare, songstress Michela Musolino and Phil Passantino perform a concert of traditional and contemporary Sicilian Folk & Roots Music, mixing genres and world sounds to create a vibrant and celebratory musical journey to the Mediterranea’s largest island. The  music combines vocals and traditional sounds, such as the tamburo and the organetto with world instruments, like the mbira and the ektara with inspiration from a variety of musical genres and fuses them into a repertoire that is at once ancient and modern and as diverse as Sicily itself. -
