Megan obtained a BA in Music Performance and an MA in Comparative Literature from Northwestern University. Her dissertation is on the phenomenon of nostalgia in Italian Literature in the first half of the 20th century. Her other interests include memory, corporality, alienation and the relationship between literary and philosophical writing.

ITAL 110, Elementary Italian I

A beginning course with extensive practice in speaking, reading, writing, and listening and a thorough introduction to Italian grammar. Activities include group and pairs work, role-playing, and conversation. Introduction to Italian culture through readings and films.

Conducted in Italian. Credit only on completion of ITAL 120.
