“Stefano U. Baldassarri holds two PhDs (Yale University and Università di Firenze) and two Master’s Degrees (Università di Firenze and The Catholic University of America). He has authored more than a hundred academic publications (monographs, critical editions, essays, translations, editing of conference proceedings and anthologies), mostly on medieval and Renaissance literature, in addition to reviews and prefaces to other scholars’ volumes. He is editor-in-chief of the following journals: “Rivista di Letteratura Storiografica Italiana” and “Machiavelliana.” Since 2003 he has been working for The International Studies Institute (also known as ISI Florence, a consortium of Australian, Japanese, and US universities), where he became director a dozen years ago.
